HARMAN’s JBL Synthesis to Showcase SDP-75 3D Audio Preamplifier Processor with Uncompromised Immersive Audio Performance
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – At ISE 2016, HARMAN’s JBL Synthesis will demonstrate its new SDP-75 Processor. The introduction of the SDP-75 is a result of a strategic global partnership between JBL Synthesis and Trinnov Audio and provides JBL Synthesis with access to Trinnov’s performance leading portfolio of immersive audio formats including Dolby Atmos, DTS-X and Auro3D.
The JBL Synthesis SDP-75 will be featured as part of a complete 9.4.6-channel home theater on booth N110 in Hall 1. The demo system will also include the JBL Synthesis SCL-3 and SCL-4 in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers for LCR and height channels and the companion JBL Synthesis SDEC5500 digital equalizer all making their global debut at ISE. This ultra high-performance JBL Synthesis demo will feature immersive surround sound formats including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D.
The JBL Synthesis SDP-75 Processor is designed to be the heart of a JBL Synthesis custom-installation home entertainment system. Deploying powerful processing capabilities and exclusive technologies, JBL Synthesis is now able to bring ultimate performance to the home cinema market driven by immersive audio and 4K Ultra High Definition video.
The SDP-75 will be available in 16 and 32-channel versions and is a fully configurable surround processor/ preamplifier compatible with Dolby® Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Audio formats. The SDP-75 also provides full support for all major immersive audio codecs and upmixers including Dolby Atmos, DTS-X and Auro 3D. It features eight HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs and is configurable for up to 118 digital and analog inputs as well as 80 audio outputs. The SDP-75 also provides a built-in WiFi and UPnP/DLNA compliant digital media renderer. Designed for ease of set-up and operation, the SDP-75 has a large graphical front panel display and an intuitive user interface.

In conjunction with JBL’s industry-leading loudspeaker technology, award-winning JBL Synthesis SDA amplifiers and new companion SDEC-5500 processor for ARCOS Room Calibration, the addition of the SDP-75 positions JBL Synthesis as the ultimate performance for high-end residential home theater systems.
The JBL Synthesis SDP-75 will be available in summer 2016 and will have a suggested retail price of € 21200 (€22200 with Blu link) for the 16-channel model and € 28200 (€29200 with Blu link) for the 32-channel version (all prices excluding VAT).
The JBL Synthesis SDP-75 is available only as part of a JBL Synthesis System through JBL Synthesis authorized retailers. In European countries, SDP75 is supplied directly by Trinnov to JBL Synthesis authorized distributors.
