ROLAND KOLLER PRESENTS “YACHT CINEMA”
One of Roland Koller’s customers has a Yacht and wanted to fulfill his dream of a villa, which was built as a yacht. In this case, Roland wanted to integrate the entire home cinema system in the living room and for that reason it was challenging to find a system that no one can see, but after pressing a button, instantly transforms into the ultimate home theater.
One thing was clear, as with his motor yacht and his new luxury villa, no compromise on quality will be made. For Roland, best picture and best sound were prerequisite. Thus, he opted for a JBL SYNTHESIS InWall system. For the image, THX 3Chip Runco DLP projector and a perforated Stewart THX screen is used. Perfect sound and picture in a yacht atmosphere… the room has nearly 100m2 and was acoustically insulated according to their specifications.
The villa and the perfect integration of the Home Cinema Systems were described in the best architects magazines. More recently, it was used as a location for a TV movie where a successful businessman who owns the best villa and the best sport car also needed the ultimate home cinema system.
