SCL-7XL

The SCL-7XL is a custom in-wall loudspeaker featuring an offset HDI waveguide allowing the speaker to be “aimed”, focusing its output toward a specific listening area while still being a flush mount speaker. In addition to being a high-power solution for surround speaker applications, the SCL-7XL can be used as a center channel above or below a display to aim sound toward the listening area. It features JBL’s patented 2409H 1-inch (25mm) compression driver mated to a Defined Directivity High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) horn. Dual 6.5-inch (165mm) Advanced Aluminum Matrix cone cast-frame woofers operate in a 2 -way network configuration allowing for installation vertically or horizontally without lobing or other acoustic issues found in traditional designs. It is designed for installation in standard 2x4-inch wood frame construction, and internal connections allow for bi-wiring or bi-amplification in advanced installations. The SCL-7XL delivers extraordinary performance in a wide variety of applications and is ideal for use in medium and large-sized rooms.
